The Velocity Festival 2025 took place for the second time from 22 to 24 August 2025 in Freakland, Galenbeck (northern Germany) and was clearly aimed at the community for high-tech, psycore and dark psy events. With a limited capacity of 1,000 visitors, the festival offered 54 hours of non-stop music on a central floor, featuring international acts and powered by a Lambda Laps sound system.

The infrastructure included a dedicated camping area in a boulder garden, a chill zone, food and beverage offerings, and selected vendor stands. A shuttle service was provided from several cities in northern Germany and from the nearest train station.

The Velocity Festival thus positions itself as a compact, target group-specific event in the field of psychedelic electronic music – with a clear focus.
